June 2025
3CX Objects, Policies & Service Restarts
June 18, 2025 — Policy Auto-Apply Bulk Controls
Policies — Editing — Small changes to make the frequency of auto-application more clear.
Policies — Assignment — Added ability to enable/disable auto-application of policies for a phone system.
Phone Systems — Added ability to bulk enable/disable auto-application of policies from the Phone Systems table.
June 17, 2025 — Auto-Apply Policies & Audit Updates
Policies — Added ability to decide how often a policy should be applied to a phone system automatically. Disabled buttons based on permissions. Updated Audit page with small UI changes and updated data based on policy implementation (e.g. if a specific setting was remediated, notified, non-compliant, etc).
Phone Systems — Added ability to choose if a phone system should have its policies auto-applied to it. If a phone system has auto-apply enabled, its policies will apply at the frequency decided by its highest priority policy.
Login — Slightly changed the login/2fa/reset password page styles.
June 13, 2025 — Idle-Aware Service Restarts & OS Restart
Phone Systems Table — Changed Restart All Services to Restart Services Now. Added Restart Services When Idle — this will restart services when we detect 0 active calls on the phone system. The system uses an exponential backoff procedure while it checks the state of the active calls, so if a system stays active for a while, the service restarts will be delayed by max 1 minute once it goes idle.
Phone Systems — Added functionality to Restart the OS (now and when idle).
Two Factor — Slightly changed the email for 2FA. Outlook now recognizes it as a verification code and gives you the option to copy it right from the system notification.
June 10, 2025 — Policy Configuration Updates
Policies — Updated options for Action on policy configuration. Added Set Once and Audit — this will set the setting once, then continue to monitor it, reporting if there is configuration drift, but will not fix it. Different from Audit Only as Audit Only will only monitor and report if there is configuration drift, it will not attempt to set the setting at all.
Moved TVS Standards to the Policies page. Largely unchanged at this moment, but this will soon be getting a refresh from both frontend and backend updates.
General — Column Chooser — Removed the button from tables where we don’t allow preferences to be saved (i.e. the policy settings table).
June 10, 2025 — 3CX Objects & Column Preferences
3CX Objects — Added SIP Trunks, DIDs, SBCs, IVRs, Call Queues, Ring Groups to backend DB. Allows faster load times and also some ability to track when those objects are added and removed.
Call Queues — Added Users column, like we had with Ring Groups, to show what agents are on a Call Queue.
SIP Trunks — Updated the DID/Phone Numbers column to be similar to Ring Group and Call Queue where it shows a popup of a list of the DIDs.
General — Column Chooser — All tables that have column choosers now allow you to save your column preferences.
Known Issues:
- Loading spinner doesn’t seem to want to show up when it’s saving. The button disables as it’s saving so you still have feedback it’s working.
- After saving the columns, the table no longer respects the Items Per Page selection. Workaround: Just choose the Items Per Page you’d like again.
- Possible Issue: When saving your choices it may refresh the page. The save will still work.
