We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of Policies v0.1 to Controvo! This long-awaited feature represents a significant step forward in how you can manage and standardize your 3CX phone systems.

  • Flexible Assignment: Assign policies to specific customers and/or phone systems, giving you granular control over your standards

Managing multiple 3CX phone systems can be challenging, especially when trying to maintain consistency across different environments. With our new Policies feature, you can:

  • Save Hours of Configuration Time: Create a policy once and apply it across multiple systems in seconds rather than manually configuring each system individually
  • Ensure Consistency: Eliminate configuration drift between systems by applying standardized policies across your entire customer base or select groups

Automatic Policy Enforcement

We’re working hard on the next evolution of Policies, which will include automatic enforcement with customizable actions for each setting when mismatches occur:

  • Ignore: Take no action for mismatches
  • Notify: Receive alerts about mismatches
  • Auto-fix: Automatically resolve mismatches
  • Notify and auto-fix: Get alerts and automatic resolution of a mistmatch

Expanded 3CX Support

Our team is actively expanding the range of 3CX settings supported by Policies, with more options coming in future releases.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue related to creating new Admin accounts

Known Issues

There’s currently an issue when using the “+ Create Policy” button from the Policy Assignment tab

  • Workaround: Navigate to the Policies tab and use the “+ Add Policy” button there instead
